The Blood Moon
An image representing power, change, and growth.
For centuries, and across several cultures, a Blood Moon has held significant meaning. Native Americans saw it as an indication of changes in the Earth. Mayans believed it was related to their gods and would hold ceremonies. Today, some view the Blood Moon as a symbol of change; a time to cleanse yourself of emotional baggage and start a path forward.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but in the early morning hours, while out on location, I was stuck just staring at this Moon. I felt a deep connection to nature, as if I were witnessing something truly special.
