Hi, I’m Dakota! I’m a Las Vegas based photographer that specializes in macrophotography and wide-angle astrophotography - specifically the Milky Way. Thank you so much for stopping by!

My foremost goal with photography is to capture images for myself that trigger a memory of the scene. Preservation in art. Secondary to that, I would love to help people see the night sky, the stars, our galaxy, the unique patterns and textures of the living world. Some of us live in very light-polluted areas and maybe haven’t been stargazing or seen the Milky Way. Some of us live in very urban environments and might not get the chance to see spring flowers, fall colors, or the deep colors of a butterfly. Those are kinds of things I want to share with people.
