Sunflowers have always been special to me. My grandmother used to have dozens of them lining the side of their house. I remember standing in her garden as a kid, and looking up at these six-foot tall flowers reaching for the Sun.

This photo brings me back to that. The intricate disk in the center; a display of new life waiting to be spread. The soft golden light wrapping around the vibrant yellow petals. A true symbol of serenity.
