The desert is often thought of as a sea of brown dirt, soft sand, cacti, and Joshua trees. But, really, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. This incredibly unique texture is unlike anything I’ve seen before. Disregarding the high wind whipping across this valley and the salt peppering my face, I set up to capture a feeling from another planet.
